There is still a lot of research that needs to be done but preliminary reports show that an element of oregano, carvacrol, is a very strong anti-cancer agent and in the study it had eliminated nearly all the prostate cancer cells it was tested against. If the research continues to go well this could lead to a new treatment option for those who suffer from prostate cancer that has far less repercussions than other choices like chemotherapy. Crazy stuff I am learning today in the medical world.
